"In Flint, the amount of lead found in in residents' water since the crisis erupted has varied from house to house with many showing no detectable levels of lead."(Young) The town in the last quote is a town in Michigan that has had major problems with their tap water for the past couple of years therefore showing people that it is safer to drink bottled water. Bottled water is also convenient, important in a disaster, and regulated by the FDA.
First off, bottled water is extremely convenient because it is easy to carry around or in a person's bag pack. Bottled water has become popular in recent years because of its portability. The average American grabs a bottled water out of convenience because they don’t have the time in their busy day
