People believe that the minimum drinking age laws have done nothing in the efforts to stop drinking since people seem to still drink underage. Most people at one point in their lives will get the option to drink underage some people choose not to while others do not. In terms of raising or lowering the best option would most likely be raising "It does not make sense to increase access to alcohol when there are already so many problems with underage drinking." People feel this way since drinking underage is already a serious problem and wouldn't lowering it just increase the problem? Teenagers get alcohol from 21 year olds and it’s easy it would be so much easier if it was lowered to 18 year olds which results in more alcoholics. With that being said should the legal limit of alcohol really be lowered?
