Personally, I’m a bit undecided on this topic. Dr. H. H Holmes has a point because if some people can’t help their talents or calling with things like sports or instruments then why would it be any different for other things like being a murderer….just because it’s evil and not good? Now, I’m not saying murder is okay and I definitely believe that everyone has control of their actions but there are some exceptions. Now, you can’t control what type of family or childhood you have and you can’t control if you have a mental illness or not but you can do things to help. You can get therapy and medication for your illness or surround yourself with positive people and focus on the future instead of focusing on the past. Also, just because you have an interest in something doesn’t necessarily mean you have to pursue it. I’ve always wanted to be a gymnast and I actually used to do a little bit of gymnastics at home but I just decided I didn’t really want to do it in a competitive way so I just continued to do it for fun at
