Drew Schuck: The Best NBA Player

It all started with drew thinking he was headed nowhere. He looked around at everyone's pencil flying across the paper they were full of ideas, while drew struggled to get one idea out. Drew liked school even though he would never admit it to anyone. He tried his best maybe not all time, but when he did he still struggled. The truth was, his mind was thinking about the NBA. Like most other kids his age his dream was to be a professional player. He was the best in the area and up there with other kids in the state. He knew he had to work hard to be the best so, over the next two years he worked hard and trained a lot. His freshman year of school drew got a starting spot on varsity. Drew walked in and sat down, he wasn't sure what this was about. He hadn't done anything or at least he thought he didn't do anything. The counselor's name was mrs. Schuck, she was friendly and nice. After a while she said, “drew I know you're the best player in the country, but if your grades get any lower you won't be able to play.” Drew replied “don't worry they won't get any lower I'm doing enough to get by I just need to finish up the …show more content…
The trip was long and tiring. The plane landed the day before they were set to play. They took a bus to their hotel, when they got there everyone went to their room and unpacked. Later that night they all got together to eat. During dinner everyone was talking, laughing and having a good time. After they were done eating they went back to the hotel and went to bed. In the morning, the team got on the bus to head to the game. On the bus drew listened to music to get pumped up. When drew entered the stadium and the crowd exploded into cheers. Drew and his team warmed for the first round game in the tournament.
Up and down and back again, swish the crowd cheers. The game was going well so far, North Carolina was up nine with three minutes left in the game. The other team put up a shot and drew went up for the rebound. All of sudden, drew yelled out in pain as landed back down on the foot of the opposing player. Everyone on his team rushed over to him when he didn't get up right away. A sudden hush fell over the crowd as the saw the bone sticking out of drew's leg. He was immediately put on a cart on brought to an ambulance and rushed to the
