I acted deviant in the organization with breaking the dress code. I didn’t even think that my dress shorts would be something wrong to wear, especially in 90 degree weather, but because they were strict on these rules I had to stay in the back where there weren’t clients. Most of the people working there are older, and wouldn’t even think about going into the center with shorts on, so they were very shocked that I was wearing the shorts, and almost didn’t know what to tell me to do the first time. I find this interesting, because if they had been my age the behavior would not have been deviant, but because they are from an older generation my behavior was deviant.
