Dress Code Persuasive Essay

You wake up one morning to a sunny and dazzling day. You know that the weather is beautiful, probably ninety degrees. You then are put in a brilliant mood. You get up happily and go to your closet to pick out something to wear. Your good mood modifies itself to a sour one in an instant, when you realize you can’t wear shorts, or the new muscle tee that you wanted to wear. Why should we have a dress code when all its does is inconvenience, ostracize and make people feel uncomfortable throughout the day?
Dress code is a controversial topic between peers and teachers, and has been causing a “sweat” for school districts everywhere. Some attendees of schools believe that having a dress code is the easiest way out when it comes to keeping people under control in what they wear. Many conflicting sides of the argument have shared their opinions on this topic, such as students, and staff in school districts. Dress code is an issue for students because it makes them uncomfortable in everyday life. Also, dress code can cause people to become confused when thinking about how society would react, and then think about how the school they go to would react. Finally, dress code can cause economic and gender issues, such as inequality. As a solution to all of the controversy between the pro and con sides, a good suggestion would to be to confront the school's administration, and begin a campaign in which would change the dress code for people who believe it is unfair. By doing so, it would give the people a voice, and finally get an understanding from every side of the spectrum. Change is the new solution, so it must be encouraged to get a good
