Dress Code: Making A Difference In School

Requiring students to conform to a dress code is beneficial to the school experience because it addresses the issues of discipline and academic achievement, students feel less peer pressure, and students are more focused in their studies. In this essay I will be explaining how my thesis is true about the dress code making a difference in the schools for the better. One of the ways that dress codes are beneficial is that it addresses the issues of discipline and academic achievement.When everybody is wearing the same thing nobody is worried about another person’s outfit.Everybody has to follow the same rules or wear the same thing which make the focus more in class.It also sets discipline for them because it gives them rules to go by and if …show more content…
My last reason on why there should be dresscodes is that students are more foucused on their studies.They are more focused because they are not worried about what they have on or what somebody else has on. Yes other people might have on different clothes but still follow the dress code but it wont be as bad as them wearing something that is distracting another kid from class work.
