This is displayed in Of Mice And Men written by John Steinbeck. This novel takes place on a farm where two guys named George and Lennie work. George is smart and responsible, the complete opposite of Lennie, who gets tempted and distracted easily but is extremely hardworking. They meet other people on the farm who have been there longer, including the owner’s son Curley who is married to a beautiful woman. Some characters in this novel have a dream, but they never achieve it. Dreams don’t come true for Curley’s wife, George, or Lennie.
