The first film I saw by James Wan was Dead Silence. At the age of 10, I was amazed by how he made the puppets come to life in the movie. Since then, I have been always a big fan of horror films and however, he made me obsessed over every films with mystery story in it that I glue myself into the television to see what is going to happen at the end. He has a creativity in making ideas that can make the movie feels so real when someone watch is it. This is how I want to be when I become a director someday.
Being open minded. Something he taught me. not everybody would enjoy my stories that I wrote or films that I created. Everyone is different in choosing what they like the most, it could be in the genre of the movie; some people likes fantasy and some likes comedy other like what they like. I should not be sad that some thought of me not being capable in being creative in my writings, or who I am as a person. Words like, never give up in your dreams, or I believe in you in every steps you take, could be really powerful for a person with big dreams. It helps the person not to fall down in losing their hopes in becoming what they want to be.
