Morgan and Angus shared a friendship that is unlike many others. They have been by each other’s side through the ups and downs. First of all, a strong friendship is one where both individuals are always there for one another. Morgan altered his whole life so he would have more time to take care of Angus and restore his memory. Miles, appreciating Morgan says, “And you’ve taken care of him since the war?” Morgan replied, “He doesn’t need much taking care of. Angus’ no invalid. I show him how to do things, remind him” (Healey 11). Morgan always played an active role in Angus’ life even though he did throw tantrums, was irritable and did not function like a regular person.
