I asked softly “Yes,” he pulled me closer to him and kissed the nape of my neck. I put my hand on his chest and gently pushed away from him looking intently into his eyes. I spoke again “I love you.” The words flowed from my mouth so effortlessly that it even took me by surprise to hear them. As he looked down at me his eyes twinkled and danced in the candlelight I waited there as he seemed to deliberate I began to feel antsy and a bit panicked. Then before I could have a mental freak-out, he smiled brightly. “I thought when you said it before you” he paused briefly. “Mm… never mind” he kissed me softly and lingered there for a while then propped his head in his hand “I love you too. From the day I first saw you I knew that I loved you.” …show more content…
“What does Mo shíorghrá mean?”
He smiled at me lovingly it made the hairs n my arm stand straight up. “ It means my eternal love” I looked away shyly when he bit his bottom lip as he examined mine. When I looked back up at him, he was still examining my face. At that moment I realized how late it was and that he may have to leave soon. “you're not going to leave tonight are you?” Hearing the need in my voice gave me chills. He smiled at me devilishly and answered in a low voice. “No Mo shíorghrá I won’t be leaving your bed tonight.”
His answer sent chills down my spine as I revisited the thoughts of his lips on mine, and the fact that he was still shirtless didn’t help at all. “Aww snap! Hold on what did I miss” Essence said loudly giving up her fight for the coffee cup. I broke my stare from Christian and turned back to my goof troop of a sister. “Um, shouldn’t I be asking you that same

I closed the door, and she sat down on the bed. “Seriously Essence what are you thinking getting this drunk.” She laid back on the bed and started laughing. “It isn’t funny,” I said sternly trying to hold back my own laughter. Then she sat up. “I’m not drunk Serenity” I rolled my eyes at her “yeah if you say so” then she stood up from the bed. No, really I’m not drunk scouts honor. “Essence you were never a scout so why on earth would you think that I would take that kind of promise into account.” She giggled. “I only had a couple of beers and you know that won’t do shite to me I have the tolerance of a thirty year old Irish man when it comes to drinking I’m just running some game on David you know the old damsel in distress thing just wanted to see what kind of man he is if he would take advantage or if he would be a gentleman so far I’m pretty impressed with him” her face was serious I couldn’t believe it she was telling the truth. I shook my head. “You have some serious issues Essence.” She waved her hand at me and rolled her
