Drake Faculty and Staff,

I humbly request to repeat the spring semester at Drake Law School. During the fall semester of my first year of law school, I had the grave misfortune of befriending an individual that attacked me after a social gathering of fellow law students. Due to this incident, I was unable to perform at my best and it reflected in my grades. The following semester, I came forward and requested assistance from the faculty and staff in an effort to improve the spring semester. Unfortunately, with the hearing being set during finals, I requested to have them postponed. Yet, I was unable to focus and, once more, unable to perform to my full potential.
