An iamb is a unstressed syllable followed by a stressed, syllable, and one can see the use of such at the beginning of the song when Drake is referring back to himself, which is creating a sense of selfishness and a contradiction to his video because he is giving back to the people but constantly referring to himself throughout the lyrics. In addition, to referencing back to himself there also lies a significance throughout the other lyrics. For example, he is saying “God’s Plan” but he seems to be saying that he is better than people when he says, “you know me, turn an 02 into an 03” which indicates a sense of cockiness and question rather or not what Drake is doing is considered a God’s plan. Another example is when he states that “I might go down as G.O.D” which also supports the idea of seeing himself as better because one know that a God is a person that is a ruler and above all humans and Drake is not. In addition, Drake’s lyrics, the video’s positioning of the camera, and his attire that he is wearing can be representations of an underlying message as-well. The positioning of the camera during a video production can mean different things such as power, importance, and even connections amongst roles. In Drake’s video we can see a lot of the times that the camera is positioned below him or he appears to be higher up from the people
