Dragonlance Legend Series There are three books in the Dragonlance Legends series, titled Time of the Twins, War of the Twins, and Test of the Twins. This fantasy series was written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman in 2001. It is set in the mythical world of Krynn where many races roam the land, including humans, dwarves, kender, elves, gnomes, minotaurs, and—who could forget?—goblins. All of the books are written in third person limited, with Caramon’s thoughts being shown but the main character development happening with his twin, Raistlin. One major theme of this series is adventure, as the heroes travel through time. Some of the major characters in this series are Raistlin, Caramon, and the kender Tasslehoff Burrfoot. Little did they know, Tasslehoff found a ring that transformed him into a mouse. He manages to sneak his way in and is taken back in time as well. Raistlin, due to the complications of time travel, gets there a few hours before everybody else. He meets Fistandantilus, who eagerly attempts to take his soul, but Raistlin turns it around on him, and takes his soul. He also takes his position, learning as much as he can before the cataclysm. Caramon becomes a gladiator, Tasslehoff disappears, and Crysania is healed and stays with the High Priest for a little while. Directly before the Cataclysm, Caramon, Raistlin and Crysania make their way to each other, and attempt to escape. Raistlin tries to kill his brother, because all Raistlin cares about is becoming a god. He fails to do so, resulting in a few awkward conversations later. Just prior to the mass condemning of the city, Raistlin takes them all one-hundred years into the future using his newfound spells.
