Now that major Daily Fantasy Sports companies are getting attacked and possibly losing millions of dollars, Draftkings and Fanduel are going on the offensive to win over lawmakers (“Draftkings, Fanduel”). Politico reporter, Tony Romm who has been covering the Daily Fantasy Sports battle says that He doesn't think much will get done on the Federal level because "In D.C., not a whole lot goes very far” (qtd. in “Draftkings, Fanduel”). Draftkings and Fanduel are being punished for seemingly one reason according to Mr. Romm. Washington D.C and states around the country are finally taking interest in Daily Fantasy Sports for one reason: because these companies have been successful.
