Draft Mishap
It was Thursday 5pm 2024, only 2 hours until the draft would officially begin. The red carpet walk was just beginning to take place with the biggest stars starting to walk out.
That's when the commissioner, Roger Goodell came on the speaker. “We are sorry, but we can’t find Carter,”he declared.
Then the Roger Goodell called the Cowboys owner Jerry Jones “Hey I am sure you have all heard over there but Carter Hahn has gone missing!” exclaimed the Roger Goodell.
“Yeah, well, let's just hope that he shows up within the next two hours,” Jerry Jones stated. Bang bang, Carter heard as he hid in the dumpster. That's when the mysterious guy lifted up the lid of the dumpster.
“I need you to come with me, sir, now!” demanded the guy.

Based on what Marcus Ball has written in the article titled, “Strange Business,” I can most definitely conclude that it seems like the football players are the ones who are forced to deal with the very strange business when they get in trouble, just like Ball, while the owners of the teams and other men in suits, like the Panthers owner, Jerry Richardson, don’t have to deal with any of that. This seems very strange as the players of the team are merely supposed to just play the game while the men in suits are supposed to deal while the business stuff. Much like what Ball thinks, I think that this is whole deal is not fair as the acts of Richardson were much worse than what Ball’s acts were and Ball still got the shorter end of the stick.…

The Saints also lost second round draft picks for the 2012-13 season and were fined $500,000 (Terrell, 2012, pg. 1). The suspensions were acceptable however; General Manager Mickey Loomis should have received a more lengthy suspension considering it was his team and that he hired Gregg Williams as Defensive Coordinator even with speculations that Williams administered similar bounty programs on previous teams that he coached (Harris, 2012, pg. 360). Furthermore, what hurt the already decrepit reputation of the Saints even more was that Mickey Loomis first denied the program, and then was allegedly instructed to halt the program by the team’s ownership, but did not follow through (Peitier, 2012, pg. 1). Ethical reasoning and successful management fit…

We finally found the place and found our campground and we wanted to find out what the shut-ins were exactly. It was on the other side of the campground…
