I want to write my course paper on a man I idolize and completely respect, This man i speak of is Andre Romell Young, a.k.a ‘Dr. Dre.’
My goal is to shed light on Mr. Young’s Achievements, business moves and career paths, I will highlight some personal things about Mr. Young but as long as it is relevant to my points.
In 1984 Dr. Dre started his music career at a local Compton night club ‘Eve After Dark’ as a Disc Jockey, he was apart of a group known as the ‘World Wrecking Crew’. Here Young, started the beginning of his music career.
Within in a year Mr. Young met up with local artist and friends Eric Wright aka ‘Easy-E’, O’shea Jackson ‘Ice Cube’, along with 3 other members and the formed the group N.W.A ‘Niggaz with Attitudes.
During this time, Los Angeles was under siege from the police with the ‘War On Drugs’ causing various riots and also the growing gang …show more content…
The three men would dominate the billboards in the early, mid, and late 2000’s.
What makes Dr. Dre so unique in the music field is his crisp and powerful beats, mixing and sampling oldies with new never before heard tunes and sounds, he also has a keen eye for rap artist talent, he is responsible for over a dozen successful music artist careers. He created the G-Funk sound most call it the west coast sound, paving the way for west coast artist to be put on the map. Dre also has a clear ability to adapt and excel as most seen he has done with his career.
I have noticed a strategy with Dr. Dre, he is a very hard worker and likes to surround himself with like minded people, he pushes himself to the limits and cuts off bad or dead weight, he likes to take risk and try new things and he makes keen investments, I believe these things are some of the reasons for Dre’s
