Right after the New Year vacation Dr. W. decided to give us a test, but, coincidentally, my father was going to have a complicated surgery that day. After taking him to the hospital, my mother and I waited there for 10 hours until he regained consciousness.
When I came home that night, I checked my Schoolnet account and found out that Dr. W. gave me a zero for the missed test, so, my current grade fell down to “F”.
