Dr. Taylor is a Gastrointestinal specialist in the Memphis area. Annually he travels to third world countries providing medical treatment and clean drinking water to the people living there. I selected to interview Dr. Taylor because I trust his medical and professional expertise and the fact he has hands on experience gives him more insight on the science and description breadth area. People living in third world countries are dealing with water crisis that effect their health. Industrial development impacts the world both positively and negatively. Taylor I did a little research on the water crisis and I was astonished at the information I found. The statistics of the millions of people dying from not having clean water and knowing that this can be prevented with the advances in science and technology does not set well with me. I firmly believe that if someone has the ability, knowledge and resources to help those in need that we should. Dr. Taylor and his team are doing their part in ending the water crisis in third world countries, but where are the bigger contributors? Water is an essential part of the lives of human beings who need water for survival. Dr. Taylor believes that if we can all either do our part to help those in need and work to get the word spread about the water crisis that our global future may be able to thrive. But he feels that it will take a greater group of individuals, reaching those with some power to make a change. I think Dr. Taylor’s views and thinking are correct and that in order for a real difference to be made more people are going to have to become involved and people in power with resources to really impact the issue need to be rallied.
