Theodor Seuss Geisel was an American writer, cartoonist, animator, book publisher, and artist. He died on September 21st, 1991. Throughout his life he had many accomplishments. Out of all of the things he was good at, he was best at authoring children’s books under the name of Dr. Seuss. Before his death, Dr. Seuss sold over 600 million copies of several of the most popular children’s books of all time and all of the books were translated into more than 20 different languages.
Although Dr. Seuss was best known for his children’s books, he also made many popular movies. His movies include How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Lorax, The Cat in the Hat, and Horton Hears a Who. All of the awards that How the Grinch Stole Christmas won was based off of the way people felt about the movie when watching it, it gave the people joy and put them in the holiday spirit. As you can see, not everyone has the same thoughts about every movie, everyone has their likes and dislikes, but if you give How the Grinch Stole Christmas a chance, like I did, it might end up being one of the best holiday movies you have ever
