Dr. Seuss reminds us never to forget the child within us, and to think outside of the box where fantasy comes to sweep us away with moral value lessons of social justice, and discrimination rhyming its way into our worlds. This paper considers how influenced the narrative and storytelling throughout Theodor’s vast career. First in his childhood doodles, on Sundays at the zoo with his father, whereas the Seuss describes, animals he drew had too many knuckles. Upon the arrival of what was later classified as a EF3 tornado arrival, weathermen across the country, were watching the increase weather pattern activity across the US. Winds picking up momentum through the great lakes and down into the New England Valley provided some warnings about possible tornado sightings. As global warming and climate change continue to plague us with stories of such Herculean natural energy seen during the tornado of 2011, we have to ask ourselves, was Seuss right when he stressed the urgency of environmental changes due to industriatzation?
