Dr. Rosin's Short Story: The Haunted House

Dr. Rosins was a very shy man which lived in a simple suburban neighborhood. His house was white with only two windows facing the street and those windows always had closed shades as if the shy doctor was unwilling to show what truly went on inside the house. Rosin had three kids and a wife which he divorced ten years ago and felt rather happy living a quiet life in a quiet neighborhood. Sadly, Rosin’s life was not as quiet as it seemed for he had secrets to keep and debts to pay but yet no one knew to whom those debts were due and what secrets he held even his family did not know what secrets he held. Rosin was sitting in a wooden chair looking at the small metallic silver safe that he kept under his desk which held a crumpled paper listing the debts and secrets that he has. Rosin himself did not know why he kept it there for he felt it was very unsafe and a cliché at most times. He dismissed the thought of burning the paper when a sudden thud could be heard echoing from downstairs. Rosin quickly pulled out his pistol which he kept hidden in a holster drilled to the underside of the table and went downstairs to investigate. As soon as he came down the stairs he saw one of the windows shattered and frowned at what a mess it made but still he pushed on investigating. As people gathered around the house they quickly realized it was Dr. Rosin’s house and once the body of Dr. Rosin was carried out of the home covered by a white blanket. everyone was aghast and the news quickly spread and shook the neighborhood for no one knew why such a tragic event happened to such a shy man that seemed to live such a simple
