Therapists are heavily sought out for in today’s generation because they want expert advice. Some people may feel that venting to a friend or family member isn’t enough. People are willing to pay the price to get expert advice. Psychologists have had long training in the social sciences that studies the behavior of people. There are a set of rules and guidelines that these psychologist must follow or else they can expect the consequences if they fail to meet these requirements. Many seek Phil McGraw for advice since he is well-known for his television show and his work in psychology. Dr. Phil has had many accomplishments in psychology that helped him take it to television but also has had many downsides which lead him to face lawsuits.
