Dr Pepper Snapple Group: Overview Dr Pepper Snapple group is one of North America's leading beverage companies, DPS markets more than 50 brands of soft drinks, teas, juices, mixers, waters and other kind of beverages. The company's strategy, brands and people have made it a strong, sustainable and profitable business. Simply, its mission statement is to be the best beverage business in the Americas. This company has evolved from series of collaborations, inventions and discoveries. In 1885, Charles Alderton, a young pharmacist in Waco, Texas, invented Dr Pepper.
