Dr. Myers has developed a clinical practice guideline (CPG) that is finalizing a power plan and algorithm for providers to identify appropriate diagnostics and therapy for pediatric patients greater than 3 years old with group A streptococcal pharyngitis. During our meetings and conversations with Dr. Myers, we identified a gap in nurse training that would be beneficial and have focused on implementation of nursing education and training. Our team will research education and training of nurses, training materials and implementation of quizzes and create targeted objectives.
