Mengele is “the original ‘Angel of Death”, a doctor who performed atrocious operations and experiments on people, especially children in concentration camps” (Kirsch., 2006). Dr. Mengele was not always this way. He was not always a monster. He was born to a prominent family. He grew up with a mother that had a terrible temper whom demanded respect and obedience from her children. She also wanted complete control over all of those that lived in her house.
