If one were to research the word leadership, the definitions would be endless. According to the text, “Leadership is an influence relationship among leaders and followers who intend real changes and outcomes that reflect their shared purpose” (Daft, R., & Lane, P, 2015).Whereas, according to Forbes the definition of leadership is to have the progression of social influence, maximizing others efforts, influencing others towards attaining a goal (Kruse, 2013). A leader should be one who aspires to greatness through his actions, words, and spirit. A true leader will not impose his views, directions, and values upon individuals with force, people will voluntary follow.
