A society where everyone is treated equally, regardless of their skin color/race was a dream for one man. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was an activist and a leader of the African-American Civil Rights movement. But that wasn’t all, he was inspiring and influential to many. Dr. King has changed the perspectives of many on race equality and he has continued to carry out his beliefs up until his assassination in 1968. If there was one thing he was known for it would be his “I Have a Dream” speech. This very speech made a huge impact on American society.
