Dr. Martin Luther King Against Racial Discrimination

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a civil rights activist who was against racial discrimination. A man that has gone down in history, someone who has been through many challenges and backlash. But, that did not stop him from believing what was correct. What caused him to make such bold, brave decisions?

Dr. Martin Luther King was born in 1929, a period where equality did not exist between white and black people. Times were tough for the Dr., especially when he got older. When he grew up to be a six year old child, the shop owner’s children would not continue to play with him, because of his color. On the train ride from Atlanta, because on an academic achievement, him and his teacher had to stand in the train for the 90 mile way back.
