The answer in this case was obvious to the point that Dr. M had failed to perform the duty as Jacob’s caregiver by not performing the right job when examining his wound without using the proper reasonable care-he didn’t wash his hand or put on his glove on when touching the infected area after he examined another person. As a doctor, he clearly understood the risk of not following the hygiene protocols after each patient; it’s was his negligence that caused the consequence. He not only put himself in an unprofessional manner but it put Jacob at the risk of further infections, which could had been prevented. There are four parts to the negligence where Dr. M failed to exercise all. He didn’t perform the duty as Jacob’s doctor and he breached
