Dr King Leadership

Effective leaderships start with the understanding that conflicts and power dynamics plays significant roles in leadership. Effective leaderships are done through directions and the ability of leaders to inspire others. A leader encourages all team members to contribute to all task in order find the best solution or strategies to resolve conflicts. Though out the movie Dr. King continuously asked his associate what is the best way they think a certain siltation should be deal with this demonstrated leadership effectiveness because he Dr. King allowed them to be part of the solution. Leadership effectiveness is also done through the understanding of culture and people willingness to fight for what’s right.

This is shown in the movie when Dr. King meets with local organizer in Selma and he asked them what type of sheriff is Jim Clark was like Bull Conner who was from Birmingham whom was known to be very violent to protest or was he like chief Pritchett whom had different ways of dealing with protesters.
