One ethical standard that relates to this situation is "Human Relationships," specifically the subcategory titled "Multiple Relationships." Multiple relationships refer to the event in which the psychologist is not only a psychologist to the client, but also fulfills the role of another relationship. For example, if a psychologist is the soccer coach for their client's school soccer team, then they have multiple relationships with their client.
