In the book “The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde,” written by Robert Louis Stevenson, a London scientist by the name of Dr. Henry Jekyll made a potion which brings his evil side forward; now he can’t control it. Now he became the first man to bring forward his evil side, Dr. Jekyll turns into Mr. Hyde, he doesn’t feel guilt, and he has little to no debt because Dr. Jekyll is a different person, and Mr. Hyde and Dr. Jekyll are two different people.
To begin, Dr. Jekyll turns into for the reason Mr. Hyde doesn’t feel guilt. In chapter two, Mr. Hyde tramples over a girl on a sidewalk in London more populated streets. Mr. Hyde without stopping or looking around first basically runs over a girl; without saying a word after he done that he just walks away and into a door that has confused Mr. Utterson. Then after Dr. Jekyll comes out and pays the girl’s family money for what has happened. In addition, Mr. Hyde one night he confronts a person well known in London, Sir Danvers Carew. Hyde is appealing to Dr. Jekyll because Mr. Hyde has little to no debt to society. Furthermore, Dr. Jekyll would have debts to society. Sense Mr. Hyde is different person he no longer has to help them. Mr. Hyde doesn’t have to do what Dr. Jekyll had to do. Additionally, Mr. Hyde has a stress free daily life. Having tons of stress can tax on your mind so when Mr. Hyde has a control on Dr. Jekyll, it’s a way to get rid of stress for him to change into someone else. Finally, at the end of the book in chapter 10, Dr. Jekyll after over controlled by Mr. Hyde decides to kill himself to kill Mr. Hyde. The fact he commits suicide has ended debt to society as a whole. Dr. Jekyll no longer has debt because he changes into Mr. Hyde, he no longer has to help people, and he ends his life by committing
