She was the first woman to graduate from medical school, a pioneer in educating women in medicine. Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell was born in 1821 and died in 1910. She was one of nine siblings. Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell was the 1st women to receive a medical degree in physics. She attended Hobart and William Smith Colleges for undergrad and for medical school Geneva Medical College.She inspired many women to join the medical force and go to medical school.
