As humans, people essentially seek healthy relationships in their lives to fill a need for connection. According to Dr. Cloud “Your own performance is either improved or diminished by the other people in your scenario” (Cloud 1). Throughout The Power of the Other, the pure idea of someone who holds an influential impact in your life whether it be in the business persons work/ personal life; constitutes towards the business person's level of success.
