Dr. Becton: A Case Study

In April the patient set up a preoperative examination with Dr. Becton. She claims that there was a nurse in the room for the pat smear. The nurse and Dr. Becton left the room as the woman was getting undressed. Dr. Becton returned but without the nurse (which it isn't against the law to have a nurse in there but according to Linda Hutchison that pretty much every doctor had a nurse present during the exams.). Then he told her to lie down on the table. The patient claims that the doctor had his hand in an unusual manner (she never felt this before at her other OB/GYN appointments) by her inner thigh. The doctor told her to turn around so he can check her back and kidneys. The patient then noticed in the glass frame on the wall that the doctor had his phone horizontally behind her taking pictures. When she turned around he put his phone up in his front scrub pocket .

State police when investigating found different videos of women including the plaintiff on his phone during their exams. He was charged with 5 acounts of voyeurism. Which this is a class D felony He was arrested the week of April 18, 2014. He bailed himself out of a bail at 500,000 dollars, and surrendered his passport.
