I visited Downtown Yonge on Friday, November 6th, 2015 approximately between 4:00PM – 6:00PM. During my visit, I noticed the area was heavily congested on the sidewalks and arterial roads. The flow of traffic was constantly steady along Yonge Street towards Grenville and Grosvenor Street, given it was rush hour. Sequentially, the traffic had significantly increased in the opposite direction towards Richmond Street. As commuters leave the downtown core, it is assumed they were going towards Union station or the highway acting as paths to head home in the inner and outer suburbs.
