the parade finally reached were we were located and it was instantly amazing. There were so many floats and costumes and the people who were doing it seemed to enjoy every minute of it. There was such a wide variety of different species in the parade, I was only able to note a few; peacock (my favorite), crabs, butterflies, flies, seaweed, lions, mermaids, fish, bees, jellyfish, a geoduck and so much more! Over the course of the parade, onlookers looked just as amused as I was and were enjoying all that the Arts Walk had to offer. People were enjoying the food (cotton candy, popcorn and unidentifiable food on sticks), face painting and live music. It was hard to tell if most of the onlookers were Olympia locals or not, but everyone did seem to enjoy themselves quite well. The parade finished up on the corner of Washington and 5th around 5:17 p.m. and by this time it was raining and a chilly 58 F. At this time Christina decided to walk around a bit and at 5:24 we walked about some sort of show titled “Stupid Show”. After standing and watching for a few minutes we both were not sure exactly what it was about so we continued walking. While walking around Olympia, we even ran into some of our old classmates from Geography of Polar Regions, Chaska and
