The waterphone is an instrument that gives great depth to the sounds that it emits even though it is a fairly small instrument. It has a very eerie feel, and is able to make many different sounds depending on the way that it is played. The instrument featured in the next video, the glass harp, is much different from the waterphone in that it has a much more delicate and soothing sound. It can emit both short and long notes depending on the duration and method by which the glasses are touched by the performers, and it also has the ability to give depth to sound even though it is a lighter piece being played.
The next video shows a man who is both a musician and a comedic acrobat. The first performance by Michel Lauziere shows him roller blading in between glass bottles that he has strategically set up so that each emits a certain sound when the stick attached to his roller blades its it.
