My educational goals are to graduate with a double majoring in Finance and Information Decisions Science. I plan to graduate with both majors as well as a few minors. My plan is to graduate with two – to - four minors which are; Entrepreneurship, Business Analytics, Business Operations, and Management Information Systems (MIS). I chose to double major because I have always had a love and interest in both the stock market and computer programing. As a child, my parents owned multiple buildings in real estate as well as their own professions as a police officer for my mother and a high school teacher for my father. They were not taught anything about money, marketing, or real estate in their childhood and so learned when they were grown. As they …show more content…
I hope to expand and enhance both my business knowledge and my network circle. I am very interested in Investments, Real Estate, Entrepreneurship, and multiple subjects in computer science and programing. I am looking forward to the next semester because it will include classes on Urban real estate, Managerial Finance, Internet Applications, and Business Project Management. I am excited for these classes because not only will they be useful towards my future careers but also because my family is planning on opening our own in real estate and property inspection company. I am still flexible in my choice for my future career considering that I have yet to pick my concentration within my majors however, I do plan to work in Chicago, IL. I also plan to open my own company. The company I plan to open is an All-Star Cheerleading competition company. I have been in All-Star cheerleading for 13 years and it is thanks to my experience in this that I grew up to be the well-round person I am today. This sport taught me about many things including adaptability, working under pressure, and how to proceed through unfairness and people you don’t get along with. I want to contribute and become a part of that sport and help other kids by supporting them and their performance
