32) Eli and Viv make up silly theories on what goes on in the extra subbasement. After a while, Viv asks about Kayla who was at the funeral. Eli explains that her name was Kayla Matheson and that they were somehow related. Viv forces Eli to talk to his dad.
33) Eli tries to leave, but Viv jumps on his back before he does. Eli and his dad talk about what happened. Eli’s mom gave up her other eggs to have Eli and she did that without consulting Eli’s dad. The Dad felt that he had failed those other eggs as a parent.
34) Eli’s dad takes Eli to work. Eli does his usual work, but once everyone is gone he gets ready to pay a visit to that elevator. He takes Foo-foo with him for comfort. Eli decides that he will have to break into the subbasements another way and ends up confronting Kayla. Kayla had Dr. Wyatt’s access card.

37) Eli found a freezer, which he assumed held his mother’s eggs. They both start trying to find information about themselves and other children. They looked on the computers, but they had passwords on them. Apparently the password dealt with Kayla and her profile read C-A-G. Repeats: 59.
38) Eli tells Kayla the truth that she has the HD. Eli grabs the hard drive of the computers so he can later examine them at home. Eli breaks open the freezer and destroys the eggs. Then they tried to leave, but run into Dr. Wyatt.
39) Dr. Wyatt had no clue that everything had been sabotaged and so he acted pleasant. Kayla nearly killed him. Dr. Wyatt ends up escaping. Eli calls his dad through the office phone.
Epilogue) Eli meets Dr. Fukuyama to ask if he could attend the Doctor’s special seminar. Eli tells the Doctor of his experiences. Dr. Fukuyama gives him a seat in the seminar, but before Eli leaves he tells her that the seminar she be for
