Double Daddy Essay Thesis

Parents have a really hard time balancing their work and also have a hard time keeping the house in good shape. Families love to spend time with each other and make memories. Some things that I do or did with my parents and siblings I will never forget. I feel bad for the parents that have to work so much that they can’t watch their kids grow up, especially because they have to focus too much on work. The stress that they get from doing all of the caring things that parents do is unbelievable. Thesis
In the short story “Double Daddy” dads try to work hard to balance the family and take care and support it, but also want to balance work. When my step dad comes home at night from the dealership he wants to be the loving family guy we would want him to be. But he is worried about the dealership losing a deal, not selling enough cars they are supposed to in a month, and someone not doing the right things for the workplace. I have played travel baseball since I was nine years old. The reason why I found out how committed they are to me is because my parents drove me all over South Carolina for a sport that I love to play. And rarely was able to see the inside of the house on the weekends because of the tournaments, so last summer was my last year of travel ball because I want them to spend the summer the way summer is supposed to be spent. Like going on the boat, swimming in the pool, and going to the beach. But most importantly spend quality time with the ones who love you.
