Dorothy Stang Research Paper

Dorothy Stang was a very important Figure to many people around the Rainforest. She was a servant to God by helping the people in need from the deforestation of the Rainforest. As a person, she focus on replanting trees and Dorothy set out to make others live a more sustainable life. She wanted to live out her faith and take action by creating good lives for the animals and people.
Dorothy Stang lives with determination and bravery throughout her life. Even though she was on a death list, she went out to make a difference for people and for the forest. She was determined to make small differences in people's lives, and she wanted to stop the deforestation from continuing. As Dorothy went through her life in the Rain forest, she know the threat she was too many people. She still went on to protect the forest like Saint Stephen did when he was blame for his teachings that “went against Mosaic Law.” Also, before he was stoned to death, he read scripture to the crowded. Just like St. Stephen, Sr. Dorothy read a verse from Matthew to the gunman before they shot her. They both are known as martyr’s from the Church. As people, Dorothy and St. Stephen were people that did crimes but in the Church they are martyrs and lived out what God intended for us to be. In my faith, I know at times I go away from God and our relationship but these to people showed me what bravery and humble they were. It influences my faith by let myself go out of my comfort zone to help other that are less fortunate than I am. It will show a new perspective on life and show me the real world. By taking action, I will go volunteer at food pantries and help the homeless and learn their story and show them compassion. Go to soup kitchens and serve food to the people of Indy and talk with the people to help them in anyway. In order to strengthen my faith with God, go out and help the
