An elderly woman in a motorized wheel chair has her toddler grandson sitting outside with her. In the distance a taunting is heard from a young boy. That is the second child who is much older than the first child. He appears on top of a swing set and he has a bag of Doritos in his hands. Doritos is trying to appeal to everyone they can. In this commercial you have actors ranging from different ages. By using the different ages such as a toddler to a young child to an elderly lady, the consumer could assume that the actors are related. Doritos is saying that people of all ages can enjoy Doritos. The company makes the buyer think that because for one they use comedy, they get them engaged and interested. They will draw in the customer’s attention and make sure the consumers will watch and remember their commercial so when the buyer is at the grocery store and they pass by the chip aisle.
