Two of the main issues with Doris in the classroom are regarding the health violations she didn’t comply with. She was given medication from Hanna’s father directly instead of through the school itself. Instead of redirecting him, she took it and gave it to Hannah during lunch. This can also be seen when Doris cleaned her up after discovering some cuts on her arms. Though it was a nice gesture, the substitute is supposed to avoid contact with bodily fluids unless absolutely needed.
