Analysis Of Hillary Clinton Advertisements

Doom for the Presidency Many ads have come across my television within the last few months, and some ads are about the upcoming presidential election. One specific example of an ad about the election would be one that targets Hillary Clinton. I have hardly seen ads that aren’t approved by Hillary Clinton about the election, which is why I was so surprised to see find this ad online. This ad starts out by showing a picture of the White House, and in the background, it appears to be storming. While this depressing scene is being displayed, a fast beat starts and a voice begins to speak about how the next president will have major challenges to overcome. Next it goes to a war scenes featuring tanks, a terrorist firing a gun, hostages in orange …show more content…
The sponsors of this advertisement would be Donald Trump. You could tell this easily by his message at the end of the it. Another feature that it contains is its speedy and mass communication. When this airs on television, it’ll be on all the televisions that are watching whatever channel they decide to put the advertisement one, so in other words, a guy in Maine that is watching News 9 and a girl in Nevada watching the News 9 will see the same commercial about Hillary Clinton failing them as a leader. Another feature that it contains is that it is an impersonal presentation. That means that you can’t have a conversation with Donald Trump if you’re just sitting at home watch a movie and his advertisement come on suddenly. The reasons this features are being applied is to get a message across. The message that the advertisement is trying to promote is that you shouldn’t vote for Hillary in the 2016 presidential elections because she will just fail you. Instead you should vote for Donald Trump because he will make America great again. The meaning of this message is pretty simple. It is that voting for Hillary will be a mistake. The intent of this advertisement is to try to convince voters to vote for Donald

Republican Nomination. In 1980, Reagan entered the Republican nomination battle with support from the Republican Party in the polls. At this point Reagan had been in the national political presence for around 16 years and in the movie/film presence for about 30 years before that. “There was some suggestion among journalists that he remained something of an enigmatic figure to the mass public. As Newsweek put it, "at the very hour of his coronation... as the Republican nominee, he remains only hazily known to millions of his countrymen," (Anderson, 1988).…

Advertisements can be found all over the city no matter where you look. They can be presented by television commercials, print ads on billboards, Internet websites, and even the radio. The reasoning behind these ads is to persuade and argue why their product is more important than others. Sometimes these arguments can be used to persuade certain ideas that people think are right or wrong, and cause an argument socially, politically, or even religiously. Imagine this, it’s 1 a.m. and rearing to the end of the night with you and your friends.…

At last night’s Democratic debate between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton invoked an unexpected figure: Henry Kissinger. “I was very flattered when Henry Kissinger said I ran the State Department better than anybody had run it in a long time,” she said, in an off-hand aside. It wasn’t an endorsement of Kissinger, or really much of anything. It was just a little brag that would have played well in a different room.…

Once every four years, many of the standard television advertisements are replaced with something much worse: political campaign ads. There are many different types of campaign ads. Among them are characters ads, which serve to establish the good character of a candidate, bandwagon ads, which serve to convince the public that a candidate is best choice because many other people are voting for them, and evidence ads, that use facts to convince the public that a candidate is the best choice for office. There is, however, one type of ad that sparks more controversy than any of the others, the attack ad. The attack ad seeks to dissuade voters from choosing a certain candidate by attacking their character or track record.…

The advertisement that I found is for Starbucks and it is found at this website; http://pre06.deviantart.net/d8a2/th/pre/i/2011/068/8/3/magazine_ad_by_nasirali-d3b8xcz.jpg. a) In this article, I believe it is using both central and peripheral routes to persuasion. It is central because it talks about Starbucks coffee and nothing outside of coffee. It is peripheral because it does not tell what makes Starbucks coffee better and it does not have any facts.…

Notable attack ads have been displayed over our airways since the 1950’s, starting first with a campaign called “Eisenhower Answers America”, which aired in 1952 (Source 2). This television ad criticized the Democrats and their foreign policy with regards to war in Korea, and prompted voters to believe it was time for a change. From then, negative attack ads over sources of media became common in the election process. Another famous political attack campaign in that of President George Bush, who ran against Michael Dukakis in 1988. Dr. John Geer, a political science professor from Vanderbilt University, notes that these ads were the first time a candidate incorporated a visual representation of the other candidate in their ads (Source 6).…

American election campaigns are unique in many ways. Many other nations look to us as a beacon of hope for democracy, the gold standard for a republic, and the perfect example for elections and election campaigns.
