Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a disease that cannot currently be cured and effects a lot of elementary aged children. That is not to say that stimulants do not aid in some of the treating of the symptoms. Children are very different in their means of reacting to the way they are helped with such symptoms. Some children take it in a way that others do not. That means that proper doctor’s visits are needed to ensure their own ways of adapting to alternatives other than medication. Medication is not the best substitute for such harmless actions. Therefore, medication is not the best alternative for children with ADHD.

The caffeine works in the same way the drug would. It is a stimulant so the effect is the same just with a much less consequence. Just like anything else, a close eye should watch the amount of caffeine consumed. If not watched the same outcome may occur just like with the medication.
