Donnie: Talented Musician

I am more than pleased to talk about Donnie, that’s what we call him. I’ve known him since he was a teenager and had the privilege of watching him grow, not just as a person but as a talented musician; he is a prolific producer, writer, arranger, and musician.

Dunn joined the O’Jays as our keyboard player while in College at Kent State. Even then, he exhibited such a high level of professionalism and tenacity that I hadn’t seen in a young person his age. He has strong work ethics and consumes music with such passion… in addition, to being a strategic team player.

I have to say, many young people who get into the entertainment industry are unable to handle fame and access, but Dunn being thrust into the spotlight did not alter him in
