Donna Tornado Eulogy

Decent Essays
Jane,
Even with all the craziness during Christmas, we really did enjoy your visit. We always love spending time with you. We've really been wanting to let you know that we think you are amazing. You are an amazing sister in law, wife, mother, and daughter. You are constantly taking care of other people and we wish there was more we could for you. I always enjoy our conversations. It's nice being able to talk to someone who understands the stress of the Donna tornado. If you ever need someone to talk to, complain to, cry to, or yell at, you can call me anytime. We love you very, very much and we are so glad you are a part of our lives.
Love,
Lori

Della, Thank you for your suggestion to ask the Covenant family if any one would be able to watch our house and pets, in May, when Natalia has the baby. Russ agrees, with me, that it's a brilliant idea. I appreciate you thinking of it. What type of information would be best? Should it be detailed, or just the situation and time frame, with specifics being worked out with anyone who responds?…

I just wanted to email you both and first and foremost say thank you for everything you two have done for me and for always supporting me! I also want you both to know that with Angie Donahoo leaving Eric and I thought it was best to ask Leanne Briggs to replace her. To be completely honest, we asked her because she seems to be the most critical of how things are done. She approached me at the baseball game last night and talked to me about it a little.…

I chose the Janet Echelman’s huge artwork because at first glance it reminded me of a tornado with its tail turned up. A tornado in the city of Phoenix is highly unlikely but not impossible. However, after reading about the art work it brought into light the meaning, shape and history of the cactus shaped flower. Oddly enough my perception of the art and the actual meaning did not vary that much. Both meaning and perception dealt with nature one coming from the ground and the other coming from the sky.…

As I stand here today, speaking to you, I am filled with great sorrow. The death of my sister, the loving and caring Marilyn Cross, has affected every one of us here in a unique way. Marilyn had many friends, and no enemies as everyone she met became one of her many acquaintances. She was a young and innocent girl who was unaware of the harsh laws that the frontier incorporated. All she wanted to do was visit me on Woden before she moved to Mimir, as she got a job opportunity there for her astounding skills in linguistics.…
