Donna Lynn Fox (AKA Bates) was born 8/25/1960 to Cletis Vernon Bates and Shirley Belle (AKA Richardson) Bates-DeVore at (the old) Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Donna grew up in Cahokia, Illinois. Donna 's parents divorced when she was young. Donna’s father died in 1990. Donna stated that grow up with her father was difficult. He was very stirct and a strong (pyhsical) disciplinarian. She reported that she hated his shysical abuse to her mother and brothers. Her mother resided with Donna until her death in June 2016 due to cancer. Donna reported that her mother was always loving, supportive, and her best friend. Steve Bates, who is 59 years of age and resides in Fort Worth, TX. Donna stated that she has always admired Steve and loooked up to him. He is encouraging. Rickey Bates, who is 58 years old and resides in Cahokia, Illinois. Donna has always felt that Rickey was incompetition for their mother 's love. Rickey is a funny and charming man. Tony Bates, who is 41 years of age and resides in Belleville, Illinois. Donna helped her mother raise Tony. Tony is very loving and supportive man. Donna stated she has a close relationship with all her brothers, but Tony she is closest too.
Donna graduated from Cahokia Senior High in 1978. She received her C.N.A certificate from Jewish Employment and Vocational training school in May 1983. Donna was always in honor roll in every school she attened. She was in the masonic order of Rainbow Girls and newspaper staff in high school. She then tried to attend SWIC but could not get past the chemistry class. Donna attempted to join the Navy, but could not make it through basic training. Donna has been diagnosed with schizo effective disorder and diebetes. Her conditions are monitored every three months by her doctor. Her conditions are controlled by medication. She takes buspirpne 5mg, three times daily, for anxiety, seroquel 350mg, 1 once at night, for anti-depression, gabapentin 600mg, twice daily, for neuraopthy, fuosemide 40mg, twice daily, water pill, famotidine 20mg to prevent ulcers, zoloft 100mg, once in the morning, for depression, pravastatin 40mg, at supper, for cholestrol, sofalol 80mg, twice daily, for bloodpressure, ranexa 1000mg, for angina, and warfarin for blood
